Oh my word - one the most memorable weekends - from the warm welcome, the epic adventures in between and a sad heart leaving. Sandy and Shane are the most accommodating hosts, the wagon was just WOW the scenery spectacular (Autumn is simply beautiful with all the colours around) a must must must for your bucket lists - Everyone needs a Gypsy experience in their lives!!

Thank you Shane and your staff for the warm and personalised hospitality, you guys have a magical gem tucked away in such serenity and yet the busy and vibrant town being just a few minutes away, we will definitely be back to try out the other accommodation types - can’t wait.
Just what we needed to revitalise our spirits from the crazy city. Everything was just perfect from cleanliness, convenience to every single staff member on site, it was even suprised with a car wash.

We absolutely loved our time with you and meeting Rosella. Our word for the week-start was "Enchanting". And that's exactly how we felt from thr moment we arrived to the sad moment we had to leave.
We appreciate you attention to detail, in making us feel so very welcome and the beautiful way in which you have decorated and set up your Gypsy Wagons. The outdoor shower was the most amazing experience and is an absolute must to any visitors.

"We would like to thank the Gypsy team for an amazing weekend.
We had such an amazing time and loved every minute of our time spent at Gypsy Life.
We stayed in one of the Vans, and it was so comfortable and stylish, my favourite was the outdoor shower, even in the cold weather i found it refreshing.
We are definitely coming back and we will be staying for a week in 2024, and we are going to try one of the gypsy wagons next time.
The van was comfortable and clean, and so was the outside toilet and shower. The Gypsy Life accommodation was a 6 minute walk from the centre of town, Google will tell you its a 13 minute walk, but that is not true. it didnt even take us 5minutes to get to the centre of town.
The hosts kept in touch with us before we arrived, while we were there. It was just truly amazing. We are definitely coming back in 2024 to stay for a week"

What a wonderful and magical place, from the moment we arrived to when we left it was amazing.

Greeted by Shane (an awesome guy) and given the tour of where we would spend our weekend, we felt welcome with the information given to us and the jokes made along the way.
Full communication and updates from booking up till us leaving and being home
As for the Rosella Wagon herself lives up to her name, absolutely gorgeous colours, comfortable bed, slipper bath (heaven), fridge with milk and bottled water and definitely the queenie stove that was lit for us when we arrived. The outdoor waterfall shower is a must try.
A huge thank you to Shane & Sandy as well as the Gypsy staff for making our stay amazing from the rose petals on the bed, the sherry, the mugs with hearts on, the queenie stove burning, to the bubble bath with candles down to the smallest details as the heart sticker on the toilet paper.

Of course I couldn’t forget to mention Murphy’s visits to us – such a gentle soul.
It was by far our most magical and peaceful anniversary.
Only problem was it was too short, We will definitely be back for a longer stay.

We have just spent 3 glorious days in Clarens and stayed at the Gypsy Guesthouse. From the moment we arrived to when we sadly had to leave, we were treated like royalty. Our accommodation was spotlessly clean and very, very comfortable. The rooms are beautifully decorated and luxurious and our every need was thought about carefully and set up for us. The owner, Shane, was very kind and super helpful. And his dog Murphy was a delight. We highly recommend Gypsy Guesthouse for your stay in Clarens. It’s an easy walk to and from town; the gardens are well thought out and beautifully maintained. Will definitely be back to stay when we are next in Clarens.

I recently had the privilege of being at the receiving end if Shane's massage therapy...what an awesome experience. Shane is caring and professional and explained what he was doing and why. He has magic hands and the knack of getting to the trouble spots. I have been battling to mobilise my shoulder for more than a year after an old injury flared up and after Shane worked on it, my range of movement without pain has improved dramatically. Definitely one of the best massage therapy sessions I have had. I would higly recommend Shane and if you are in Clarens that you take time out to have a session with him.

I left his rooms with a wider range of movement than what I entered with. Extremely professional. He followed up with me a few times to make sure I was ok. Highly recommend Shane’s services.
